I had actually never heard of this oil before, so when I saw Aromatic Infusions had it as their weekly half-price essential oil I picked one up. It's similar to rose geranium in that it's very reminiscent of rose oil but for a fraction of the price. I would say palmerosa has a subtler smell than rose geranium, but one that's a bit closer to true rose. Use it alone in a diffuser or as substitute for any essential oil blend (in a diffuser, soaps, etc.) that calls for rose.
