Description
Black or green tea blended with spices and generally served hot or cold with milk and sweetener. There are many favorite recipes for chai, but the spices most often included are cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger and black pepper.
Directions
Add 1 tsp. chai mix to 3/4 cup boiling water. Steep 4 to 5 minutes and strain. Top off with 1/4 cup hot milk or dairy substitute and sweeten with honey or sugar to taste. Makes 1 serving.
